Description

Eczema in infants and children is still a common and often inadequately controlled condition, partly due to the conflicting advice and misinformation that exists in the general community.

In this very practical presentation, Paediatric Allergist and Immunologist, Dr Gabby Mahoney cuts through the myths and misconceptions to deliver evidence-based recommendations for managing eczema, both with day-to-day maintenance therapy and during acute flares. She’ll discuss what works and importantly what doesn’t, and will discuss other relevant issues such as key triggers, managing discoid eczema, and when referral might be appropriate.
